Acting President of Pakistan, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari has summoned 48th session of the National Assembly and 88th session of Senate on December 10 and 12, 2012, respectively, it is learnt. According to sources in the Presidency, the Acting President has signed the summary for calling the session of the National Assembly on Monday.

However, the summary has been delayed and it did not reach National Assembly Secretariat. The sources said that the government may table the bills including Investigation for Fair Trial Bill, 2012, The Gwadar Port Authority Bill, 2012, and others in the Lower House of the Parliament for passage.
